No, a wideband sensor alone will not work. You must use a complete wideband and controller. We recommend the PLX devices widebands.

PLX are the bomb for sure. being able to mimic the stock primary O2 as well as be a wideband sensor is awesome.

That's funny, Spunkster, I was recommended to buy the Motec PLM, and I can guarantee it is significantly better than the PLX. :) As a matter of fact, I bought mine from Hondata!

Joe that was over 7 years ago. <shaking head> I'll bet it didn't cost anything near what the PLX costs either???

7+ years or not, its still a better unit. :) Oh, and it was cheap compared to the prices on them now!

Will the plx control an NTK or a bosch 4.9 sensor? I haven't looked at them lately..

All current PLX widebands use a Bosch sensor. Only some of the very early units used an NTK sensor.

I too would like an answer to this question. I've looked at the help info that came with my SManager, and I see the photos where is says to remove r3 annd r2.....etc. Has anyone else done this?

AFM1000 is the best wideband on earth, it's use by the automotive industry to tune and develop cars (use a L2H2 sensor)

NGK AFX with L2H2 is the second best
after that PLX with NTK sensor (L2H2 or L1H1)

Love my Zeitronix. Got mine with the display, boost, and EGT. Great datalogging software!
