I want to boost to 35 psi
Is there anyways around this except selling the Hondata. I got the complete tuner package.
Boost to 35 psi
Two options:
1. Set the ECU to run rich at 28 psi, boost to 35 psi where it should lean out about 1.5 a/f points.
2. Use a 5 bar MAP sensor with Hondata set to 3 bar. All the column load numbers will be different, but the ECU will work. To correct the column load values multiply the absolute pressure by 1.66. e.g. atmospheric pressure is now just under column 5, column 8 is about 7 lbs boost, column 10 is 25 lbs boost.

Re: Boost to 35 psi
If there is anyway you could include the use of the 5 bar map on the Rom Editor, without us having to "rig" it to work, there will be many people happy. Probably get a few more people using the system to because of it simplicity.Hondata wrote:Two options:

is there a certain 5 bar to use? in the past i've tried buyin the 3 bar from my local parts store for the t/a but when i plug it in it doesn't work. but when i order it from gm it works just fine. it's weird because i order them for the same car but only the one from 'gm' seems to work. can someone explain y that is?
using the divide-by idea maintains the boost cut, too
