Hondata and Methanol
I plan on building a race chassis very soon, and I want to use Hondata. I plan on using Methanol, so injector sizing is going to be 1600cc~1800cc with the appropriate alcohol lines, tank and pump. I dont forsee any problems. Since alcohol requires double amount of fuel, I will have to set up maps for 800cc injectors if I go with 1600cc's. The post start enrichment and warm-up maps will have to be tweaked a bit since alcohol makes the engine run so cold. Overall I think the stock ecu is 100% capable of 600whp sohc on alcohol. Any use alcohol with Hondata yet?
Re: Hondata and Methanol
I'm running 1100cc injectors on gas with no issues. As far as the methonol tuning, your on your own. That having been said I believe it could work. Don't you think 600hp could be had on gas? why go methenol?

Double the fuel required is a folk myth. 2.3 times the amount of gas will get you in the ball park. Believe me that the .3 is very significant at boost or even normally aspirated. Expect about 12% power gain at best with the engine optimized for alk. Run it the least bit lean and it will detonate extremely bad! However, it is much more forgiving as far as tuning for weather changes. We use 8 160lb. injectors and upped the fuel pressure about 8 or 10 psi. From that point we had to make few changes to the fuel program. We were already using 4 160lb injectors on gas. Try it, you'll like it.
