Unable to upload/download, clear ecu
Hey guys,
I have the following:
Kpro serial: 03384
PRB ecu
Car: EU CTR-SC EP3 K20A2
Vista with v 1.3.5.3
The following is happening,
When i connect my laptop to the ecu i get online and can get the ecu info etc, so far so good.
I turn on the ignition, ignition comes on in kmanager, try and load my map, it starts for 1 sec and then it stops with ;upload failed;, if i try to clear the ecu i get 'clear security failed'.
If i try to update drivers i get 'error updating usb driver/ acces denied.
Also, if i turn on the ignition without the laptop connected, the CEL stays on and the car starts in limp mode.
If i do this with kpro connected to my laptop, on ignition the CEL comes on and goes of and i can start up the car fine with no problems at all.
Anybody have an idea what might be causing this?
I did have my dash out of the car but everything electrical is installed correct.
Can it be the laptop im using? I am using a different one now then the one the map was uploaded with.
Thanks in advance!

Ok, did some driving again this weekend and still the same problem.
I turn on ignition, ecu does self check cel goes on and back off and after a couple of seconds the cel comes back on and stays on.
If i turn ignition off, plug in the ecu to my laptop, turn ign on and all is fine, i can start the car without a problem and all runs fine.
I can then plug the ecu back out from the laptop and everything stays fine till i turn off the car and try to start back up after a while. If i start up a couple of sec after turning off the engine everything stays good and runs fine.
But if i turn on the ignition, wait for the self check to be done and start it up it starts up fine and a couple of sec later the cel comes on, if i now plug in my laptop the car goes into limp mode immediately, idling very erratic and what not. If i turn the car off with the ecu still connected to the laptop and start back up all is fine and well.
Thinking of sending the ecu up for a complete check up so i have an idea where to look for the problem.
Also still unable to do the things described in the first post.
Any ideas?
Edit:
I should also mention that a motorbike in my garage cought fire and caused a lot of soot damage as my windows were open, the flames stayed by the motorbike and nothing else cought fire.
Whole interior and wiring is new.
