is there a way to make a sound for shifting

how do I make it beep or play a sound when I am about to hit redline. I have heard of people doing this but I have never seen it.

This one works perfect, adjustable three beeps, set at whichever rpms you prefer. Its super loud too.

In the display window set the warning rpm to your shift rpm, select a warning sound and set 'warning sound on change' to false.

As Hondata says to do should work. Unfortunately my CarPC has an issue with this in KManager and only beeps once when I hit 8000rpm then never again until I restart the PC. I think it is a audio driver issue as I had it working fine once but it stopped working again after a KManager update. Now I've given up and just keep one eye in the rev counter - in PC display of course :-)
It is odd because if I set any other gauge to do the same, like TPS, it works fine. Only the RPM gauge that I want to work will not :-(
Please let us know how it goes...it is possibly an issue with some CarPC's. I have a Jetway J7F2 motherboard with latest BIOS, latest audio driver etc.
A CarPC is a great idea for KManager. I like to watch the tables moving around while driving - looks the part!

yeah I still could not get it to work. I have a warningMin and a warningMax but I don't know what to set them at I put the min a 8500 and the max at 8600, set the sound and left the sound on change set to false but I only got a sound when I clicked close. other than that it would not work

Try adding a TPS guage to your display and set its WarningMin to -10000 and WarningMax to 30. Now you can switch on the ignition without starting the engine and see if the warning sound works when you push the throttle over 30%. I did this to test mine. The TPS guage beeped fine but the RPM one wouldn't work correctly. At least this will let you see how to set it correctly to make it sound.
