Running really rich and can't lean it off

Post by alexb18c1 »

I'm running RC's 1000cc low resistance injectors. I have trouble idling the car, it starts but do not stays on. It's dumping alot of fuel and everytime I lean it off it still does not work. I'm running fuel pressure aroung 45 psi using the S300 with a base map for 800cc injectors modified to the 1000cc. if the car idles is really rough, before the injectors it run just fine. Any suggestions on why this is happening. :x

Get the voltage compensation tables for those injectors and enter the data into the fuel trim tab. Large injectors like these will need a lot of tuning for idle and the fuel map will not look like a standard fuel map.

You mentioned that one needs the voltage charts for large injectors. Where exactly does one get these?

Usually the manufacturer of the injector. Injector rehab has a large charge of opening times http://injector-rehab.com/kbse/lag.htm
