Knock sensor differences?

Hi, Im doing a K24a2 swap in a EG. Can I use the k24a2 knocksensor with the PRB Kpro?

I have seen that the RSX-S knocksensor is green, but mine is black, is there any difference in using the black one?

No they all pose the same purpose. Just a small microphone. Use either.

i think the plug might be different between the green and black ones but i cant confirm that 100%. i sold a black one to a guy for his rsx-s , figuring they were the same , him as well. his mechanic told him the plug wouldnt fit it. never seen it with my own eyes though. the B/H/D series knock sensors , although some are square and some round , are all the same and will work with any ecu. i cant see why they would be different now but you never know.

Yeah cranny, the plug itself is different between the black and green. I myself have a base model rsx and my plug is black, but the rsx type s is green and different. He just needs to use whichever one matches to his harness plug. Other than that they all read the same thing.

Electrically they are the same.
