I need advice on how to build a motor for a kit car, or rather, what combination of parts will allow me make this project work without major headaches. This is what it is going into: http://www.superlitecars.com/roadster_spec.html
It will be similar to an Ariel Atom. I'm trying to make a COMPLETE parts list below to build a naturally aspirated platform that will eventually be boosted by a Rotrex Supercharger. (does not replace intake manifold)
I am purchasing a 2006 TSX Longblock.
To have a tune-able Hondata ECU I need what exactly?
This is my list:
TSX 2006 Longblock (Head and shortbock)
2004 Type S Manual Transmission
2004 Wiring Harness from an RSX Type S or ?
Hondata Heat Shield Gasket
Replacment Throttle Body (what years?)
Alternator for a TSX or RSX? Are the the same?
Starter for a Type S Manual Transmission.
Aftermarket Intake manifold to replace TSX Manifold. What is the best?
Aftermarket Header to replace stock exhaust manifold. What kind?
Custom exhaust pipe and muffler to match kit car Structure.
I'm looking for advice and suggestions on Parts and Details I'm not aware of.
For example, since I'm getting a TSX longblock, what is the best place to find an RSX wiring Harness? Is there an aftermarket wiring harness available? What brackets might I have to fabricate?
I need advice on how to put together a Kpro tunable TSX/RSX
Looks very, very similar to the Atom.
2002-2004 RSX wiring harness
Replace TSX crank sensor with RSX sensor.
Stock injectors with 50-60 psi fuel pressure for NA.
2006 RDX injectors for low hp (510 cc ~ 350 hp)
RC 650 or 750cc injectors for higher hp.
DC5 RBC intake manifold.
Spoon throttle body (64.5mm, cable driven, bolts straight on to the RBC intake).
Either TSX or RSX alternator. Either TSX or RSX starter motor. You can actually use parts from the L4 Accord, CRV, Base RSX or 2002-2005 Civic Si for many of the parts.
You may be able to use the US Civic Si intake, but it is designed for drive by wire and so the throttle body is more work.
Header has to be custom made.
Get the wiring harness either from a junk yard or new from Honda. Also get the charge harness, which couples the main harness to the alternator and knock sensor.
I'd recommend making the rest of the wiring adapter yourself, otherwise we've had success with the Hasport adapter.
Personally, I'd recommend the K20A over the K24. They make the same power, but you'll get more rev range and a flatter torque curve with the K20A.

Hondata
Hondata,
You stated that I could use 2006 RDX Injectors at 510cc for up to 350 hp. Crank or wheel?
Also, my goal is 300whp. I can only find that the RDX injectors are rated at 410cc. So, I'm confused. Are their 510cc's that I can't find?
I am trying to identify the best injectors to use.
Also, would a Walbro 255 high pressure (255 lph) be the best pump to use in an in tank application? I find a 190 lph and a 255 lph.
Thanks for any help.

Hondata wrote:About 350 crank hp / 320 wheel hp. Yers, the RDX injectors are 410cc, modified stock injectors are 510cc, but the RDX injectors are better.
I've got people who think they know what they are talking about telling me that 410cc will not be enough for 300whp.
So at the risk of pestering you:
The RDX 410cc injectors will easily support 300whp in a Rotrex Supercharged application from what you have seen?
If you get a moment to confirm with a one word "Yes", or "No", I would greatly appreciate it. And thank you.
No. You will need larger injectors.
300 WHP supercharged = fuel for about 330 HP as 30 or so HP is required to drive the supercharger.
Modified stock injectors or RC650s. The RC650s are commonly used in supercharged Hondas.
Your fuel system will need a rising rate fuel pressure regulator with a base pressure of about 50-55 psi.
Walbro 255 in tank will be good. Run heavier gauge wire as this pump pulls more amps.
