I have a UK Civic Type-R with JRSC @ 9psi.
I have just recently noticed that I get a bit of knock (20-30) at around 50% TPS between 3700 and 4000 RPM, before the engine switches to high cam. Is it worth retarding the ignition in the suspect area (bold)?:

I was going to retard ignition values from 3500 to 8000 in columns 11-13 by 2.00 to see if it goes but would like some advice first if possible.

Thanks for the replies. I have retarded the ignition on rows 3.5 to 8, columns 11-13 by 2.0 and will see how it goes. The engine won't ever be any higher than 4 in those boost columns in the 50 deg cam anyway. I'll let you know how it goes today. My car is going to love the freezing temps this morning! How's the weather where you are fonz? Do you ever do any track days at Knockhill?

They are quieter compared to other nights so less chance of nasty collisions. I've not had mine on the track since supercharging it. Four track days toasted my last brakes and I've also got a nice new brake upgrade to test out.[/url]
