P28

Post by honda_dreamin »

I currently have a stage 2 on a pr3 non obd LS/Vtec set up. I'd like to switch to a p28 because as I understand, this will give me more features. such as turning of knock sensor and such.

my quetion is: what distributor will work on this set up, and where can I get p28 ecu pin outs. Is there anything else i've missed? or need?

as far as i know a p28 will never check for a knock sensor..
a p72 or a p30 will.

i run a p28 stage 2 on an lsvtec w/ no knock sensor

ok, but what distributor are you using?

I've got the b16a head, but I need a 24 tooth distributor for the p28 to work properly.

B17 GSR, B16 Del Sol
any '92 up 'teg with all but the top attachment legs cut off.

brand new factory distributor bodies complete with pickups but missing coil and ignitor are cheap: $100-125.

I have a (OBD0 PR3 1990) B16a head that I converted to ODB1

I used a GSR 92-up distributor and did not have to cut any of the legs off
