K-Pro Dual o2 sensor

Post by Boofster »

Application: '06 S2000

As per instructions, I picked up a primary o2 sensor from an '04 RSX.
Just to double check, the part number was 36531-PRB-A01

Trying to install it right now and it seems the harness is about 4" shorter than the stock s2k sensor. I can't find any slack to plug it in.

What are people doing in this case? Do I need to re-solder extend the harness or is there a trick I'm missing here?

you can either make one if you have access to spare or parts harness's , or you can buy O2 extentions from a couple different sites.

Thanks. I'm interested in those that have already installed it.

It will fit just fine, but you must reroute the wires over the transmission instead of around the back of it like it is when stock.

I popped another clip and was able to wire it reasonably well.

Fount this extension which may be exactly what we need to return to stock path:

I will install and report back.
