Road Dyno in KManager?

Post by carbonctr »

Hi
Maybe a bit wishful thinking but is there any plan to integrate a road dyno window or module into KManager? I'm sure the K-Pro collects enough data to work out BHP and torque. You could include a database with the required vehicle specific information like frontal area, coefficient drag etc. Even if this was a pay for software add-on it would be well worth it!

There is already something similar to this already out there.

I had a look at KDyno and RazDyno but was really hoping for something integrated into KManager. I even made a spreadsheet myself that gave a graph of acceleration from an exported datalog csv which looked like a torque curve only very messy (required serious averaging!).

I doubt that we would see something like that in kmanager. It could potentially be too much of a liability.

I've played with razdyno before though and it looked like a pretty good tool.
