cant get the pressure values to change in boost control

Post by b16spaz »

i have a p28 w/ boost control and ive got the solenoid hooked up and works just fine and what not but when i try to set up the gear based boost control the program wont let me change the values in the pressure vs duty parameters. i can change the duty values but not the pressure. it will let me type in a number but it wont take it its just goes right back to the default values. im not sure what to do, ive tried downloading the newest version of the smanager and it still wont let me do anything. so my question is how do i change these values? thanks alot

I think this is your problem. The pressure values must increase from left to right. If you have values which are 6, 7, and 10 lbs, the middle value cannot be set below 6 nor above 10.

The easiest thing to do is to start on the right side of the table and enter the highest values first. If there are unused columns on the right then set the pressure to something higher than your highest value.
