S300 majour problem need help asap

i have a stock jdm dc2 integra type r. I bought a s300 installed in a p28 it has on a itr basemap. When i first install the ecu the car would idle fine and after about 4mins the ecu would flash from green to red constant and at the time the check also flashes and the rev counter jumps up and down. The guy i bought from in california told me return it that he would fix it it returned the same way, I live in Barbados so i let a professional electrition who installs hondata look at the ecu he told me me whoever chipped the p 28 did not convert the ecu from auto to manual so he did so. I put the ecu back in the car now it would drive fine and eventually after sometime the green would flash to red back and forth and the car would freak out, The only way to stop it is to turn off the car and start it back and about couple seconds later the problem reoccurs. Please help me out

have you checked for codes? sounds like a bad chipping.
