Idle Problems

Post by dskipp01 »

So I have finally put my car all back together, after putting a LSD in my Tranny, putting a new ACT clutch and Flywheel, and building my bottom end with all Eagle Products. I am by no means an expert at tuning and am needing a little help. I am having a really hard time getting a smooth idle.
I've checked everything that I can, from setting the idle per the hanes manual, checking for a vacume leak, the ignition timing, and now two different sets of Sparkplugs. So I'm thinking that it is something in my tune. Any help would be appreciated. oh also I don't have my exhaust connected its just a strait dump

B18C1 with Eagle rods and crank, Stock GSR head (that'll be next)
with a TD04 Turbo at 12 lbs on the spring.

I have also attached my datalog which is about 2 min (if you need longer just let me know) and my current tune.

Thanks,

Without a wideband reading it is impossible to see what your engine is actually doing. It could be running too rich or too lean causing the idle to falter.

Thanks for the reply. I guess that I'm going to have to take it to a shop to have them tune it. I was just trying to hold off till I could finish my head, and weld up an exhaust. Thanks anyways.
