ok i have a 97 honda prelude sh and i bought a JDM H22A engine and swapped a lot of the sensors and components so it will work with my OBD-II wiring harness that was on my H22A4 engine. I also bought an intermediate shaft and took out the ATTS system completely. so that leaves me with a couple of plugs that wont be used. i also swapped the oil pan and oil pump housing so i could have the CKP and TDC sensors. I have reset the timing but the engine is not quite in the car yet. i don't know if the ECU will read everything or not but i was wondering if i buy a P28 ECU from hondata and have it flashed (after telling them what i've done to the car and engine so far) would that be a good thing? would a flashed ECU help me benefit more from my upgrades i've done that just leaving the stock ECU that came with the car??? this is what i've done so far.

Swapped the H22A4 for the JDM H22A
Removed the ATTS sytem
Swapped the Oil Pan from the H22A4 to the H22A and put on the 5spd Tranny
Skunk2 intake manifold
throttle body spacer
tornado fuel saver
new fuel injectors (stock ones though)
pulstar spark plugs
ngk spark plug wires
swapped distributor from H22A4 to H22A
DC sports headers
greddy ti-c cat-back exhaust
swapped the auto belt tensioner for a manual belt tensioner
new timing belt
new pulley belts
aem v2 air intake
hondata heat shield gasket
dunno if it matters but also went from 16X7.5 wheels to 18X8

well thats what i've done so far and running low on cash and there is NO hondata person around utah for quite a ways to hook up my car with the s300 system or i would. so for now i just want to know if buying a P28 with a flash from hondata and a OBD-II to OBD-I conversion harness will work for my car under the circumstances. i have a little over a week before i HAVE to be finished and get this car running please help me ASAP!

There is no "flash" for a p28 that we sell. You will have to either get the s100 or s300 and it will need to be tuned on the dyno. The s300 can be tuned by anyone with a dyno or yourself if you take the time to learn how to use the software.
