Switch for secondary map...?

When wiring in a switch for secondary maps, do I cut the wire or tap the wire at the D2 position...?

You need to cut the wire, or every time you hit hte brakes, you will go on to the secondary maps.

That's what I thought, just wanted to make sure... once the wire is cut my brakes will no longer show up in my datalogs, right?

So do it like this? But this is using the A/C switch wire in B5 slot.
