Kpro troubles

Post by aspecha »

I recieved my Kpro last night for the D17. I installed the cam gear, changed the wiring. Installed the ECU, loaded up the basemap for a 01 D17 Vtec. Start the car everything starts up just fine. I rev the car and it hits about 2700-3000RPM's and cuts off. Launch control is off. My rev limiter is set to 6900. I backed it out gave it very little gas in 1st gear it hit about 3000RPM's and cut off agian. Shifted into 2nd gear and it seemed to be normal until about 5000RPM's it cut out again. I can hear the Intake still pulling in air but hitting the gas does nothing. The car can't go over 15% TPS in 1st, 3rd, 4th, and 5th gear with out cutting out. It cuts out in 5th gear above 50MPH and in every other gear at about 3000RPM's. I've read about cold cranking problems and fuel cut out but haven't been able to find any kind of solution. I'm obviously new to the kpro so please any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks a lot!

I'll try to post a vid of what its doing in a bit.

Have you checked to see if it is coming up with any error codes?

You say you loaded the calibration, but did you upload it to the ECU?
