Question about European Civic Type R FN2

Post by Bezendeviation »

Hello,

What kind of fuel does the Euro 07 Civic Type R Group N ECU request.
Is it possible to drive it with 95ROZ?

If Honda recommends 95 for the Civic Type R you will be OK.

I use euro98 in my EP3 type-R. If I were you, I wouldn't use euro95.

I don't have a FN2 and my EP3 is tuned for 98ROZ, too.
It is just a question, because at Hondata.com you can't see which kind of fuel is required.

I know, but for any type-r, I recommend you use ron98. and nothing less. If you are near Germany, you can fill her up with ron100.

Depends on the tune and engine configuration. Civic TypeR EP3 is able to run on N95. Doug on his Hondata DVD recommends the lowest octan fuel that is possible to use on engine configuration (becouse of the burning speed of lower octane fuel is faster).

So if you can tune your car to run on N95 without knocks - use N95. If not then go for something higher.
