AC Switch

Post by FreshDA9 »

this is my first time hooking up nitrous threw a engine management and i have looked at the diagram in hondata's tech section so do i have to cut a wire on the AC button and run it to B5? or is it already set up i have an obd0 integra just checking because i know the jumper should take the Ac pin from the 0bdo and run it to the correct pin on the obd1 ecu correct. Also do i wont to invert the output? thank you.

If you choose to use an A/C switch you will have to rewire it and determine what pin does what. All the Hondata does is allow the ecu to see the A/C input as a trigger.

i havent pulled my dash apart yet since i have my car stored for winter but is there an out put on the ac button that i send to the input (B5)?

Image

is the blu/red the output that runs threw the Ac Thermostat and pressure switch i know the Red/Blk is the light and blk/yel is the power from the ignition switch.

All im asking is Blu/Red what i cut and pin into B5? sorry if im being difficult like i stated this is my first time hooking up nitrous this way.

IF you want to use the AC switch you will have to completely rewire it. I do not have any details on how to do this as the switches are all different from all the different cars.

You must wire a switch to the input you select. If the input you use requires 12volts , then you must have the switch wired in to a 12 volt power source. If the input is a grounded input as most of the inputs are then you must have an inline switch that goes to grond from the input.

If you are still unsure how to do this then you may want to contact yoru local HOndata dealer to have them assist you in this wiring. A mistake could casue damage to the ecu or th engine.
