Hi guys,
I have been using kmanager in the past with no problems but I uninstalled it before i left for Afghanistan, on my return i had put the software back on. This time how ever I can install the software sucessfully but when i connect the ECU to my USB point I get a message saying there is a problem with the device. I go through the steps of trying to install the driver manually but no joy. I have followed the intructions to the letter but have not had any luck, I've also been to hondatas site and had a look on here but have not found anything. Any of you guys experienced this? or have a fix.
Oh and I have tried to copy the two drivers of the CD rom to my hard drive and tried to install that way but windows drivers manager still laughs at me?????
Im using windows xp home sp3, no others problems experienced with my software
Thanks in advance

Its a windows usb error message, when i connect the cable to the comp it pops up with a message from the task bar saying that the device driver is not there, click on the message to resolve etc. when i go to driver update i follow the steps and have tried to let it find the driver its self and also selected to manually add it by browsing the install directory c/programe files/kmanager. it searches for a while just to say cannot finisg the update driver wizard. I even dragged the contents of the cd accross to my hard drive and tried to update from there?????
I managed to fix the problem,
I used a USB extension cable so i didnt have to sit in the car. This is a big no no, the usb cable loses to much power an cannot connect with the device properly. once I used the correct cable again the device worked with no problems what so ever.
I'm just glad it wasnt something wrong with either my Kpro or computer.
thanks guys for all the help
