PLX M-Series wideband oxygen sensor OR?

Post by gatesmith »

Is the PLX M-Series wideband oxygen sensor the only one I can use to run a wideband with my S300 ECU for tuning?
I don't really need the gauge at all. I just want the wideband for tuning.
Something simpler? A module or something?
Thanks.

Would there be a difference in AFR in the S300 than the PLX SM-AFR. I thought you needed the gauge to set the difference.

Also do you have to calibrate the sensor in Smanager for the s300. If so how do I do that?

It is best to have a display so you can always see the readings, and it makes setting the offset much easier. You can use a multimeter to help you find the offset, but it will be much more tedious since you will have to convert the voltage to a AF reading in your head to get it right.
