4Bar Motorola Map Sensor - Need help with (Scalar & Offs

Post by sIrK »

Hi, i have a motorola 4bar sensor from xenocron, i installed it and plug to hondata s300 (p28), i configured it as Hondata/Omnipower and left the default values but the engine go down of rpms and turns off...
I tested it with another values (Scalar:826mbar/volt - Offset:162mbar) but the same.

I need that someone help me with the configuration.

Thank you.

Yes, and they answered me this:

The 4.0 sensor I sell is the same exact sensor in the Hondata 4 Bar unit…so use the built in setting in S300.

But with this values the sensor doesnt work fine. I tomorrow will test the values that i calculated.

Hi, i installed again the 4bar sensor map and make some runs to chek it. First work well, second cant start, third the same, fourth again, fiveth start but at begining was hard to maintain the rpm. After the engine stablished i calibrated a little the iddle.

I attached some datalogs and two calibrations. Please need help with this...

The values that i used to configure the map sensor are:

Scalar: 826.44 mbar/volt
Offset: 165.28 mbar

Sometimes the engine goes down on rpm and works very bad... and turn off.

I have installed skunk2 mainfold with obx throtleboddy, 4-2-1jdm headers, fujita air intake CAI, RC440cc injectors, ngk iridium spark plugs, msd spark plug wires, autocom flywheel, aem fuel pressure regulator at 38psi, mugen fuel rail.

NOTE: ELD Wideband isnt connected, so af ratio its wrong.

If the sensor you purchased from Xenocron is not working then you will have to contact him for support on this. Perhaps you have a faulty sensor.

Hi again, i tested the map sensor again. When the engine starts it mantains stable, but when i push the gas it begins to oscillate.
Narrowband and wideband was unpluged.

Hi again, after a lot of tests with sensors... i decided to buy the hondata omnipower map sensor 4Bar (But the seller sent me omnipower because told me that are the same, ok...) i plugged it 1 hour ago and was testing it... it does the same like motorola.... and i checked the model of sensors and ARE THE SAME!....

When i replace the sensor of stock with hondata/omnipower/xenocron map sensor, only have to change parameters in MAP and select hondata/omnipower sensor, no?
Why af ratio goes crazy and begins to getting rich and lean... the rpms oscillates, the map level goes between 250 and 450... and cant stabilize?¿?¿

Please, i need help with this problem because im tired to do tests change parameters... i have 2 sensors now, Motorola and Omnipower.

Only want to know why it does this things...

In the throttle body with 2 screws, like the stock map sensor.

Pic of my Engine, you can see the sensor:

That calibration shows you were using the 4bar map sensor still
