Wiring in PLX wideband
Wiring in PLX wideband
My tuner told me to wire in my PLX WIDEBAND(white wire) to the d14 and not worry about wiring it to the ELD like noted elsewhere. Will this be fine, i do not require narrow band input and this is a race only vehicle. Just trying to use the most easiest route and configuration option for logging.

I highly recommend wiring as we described in the link. There is no reason not to do it this way.

got any hints?
when i set it at either 1 or -1 it would get close but i could never get it to match. It still wouldn't update the samples as fast as the plx would, is that normal? I figured the numbers would be flipping as fast as all the other sensors do and the plx box itself. What kind of values does the offset need? does the software make an average of incoming readings?

I cannot tell you what offset you need. You will just have to use trial and error to find the offset that works for you. don't forget that you can use decimals (1.23).
If it is datalogging slowly then you either have a slow laptop or maybe you have too many windows open which is slowing down the system.

Ok well i moved it to d10 and it seems to be doing a lot better, it follows the plx up and down, not nearly as fast but i just don't see that happening anyways being that its running over usb and the plx is so exact. I did some pulls and it data logged fine and gave a pretty accurate reading. interesting that i couldn't get d14 to work considering it is an option.

my wideband seems to be very sensitive to electrical changes. when i flip on my lights or corners or flip them off, it makes the meter shoot up almost a full point and then settles back down. Alt is giving a strait 14.3
I got my power and ground from the radio harness, there is no radio in the car.
