Launch & Flat Foot Shifting - JDM ITR DC5

Post by JayK »

Hi All,

Ive had my PRB KPRO mapped up and running sweet. I was just noising around yesterday and set Launch Control as a test. I set it to 2000rpm just to see if it came on.

However the clutch switch parameter ive set it to is "Always On"

Im not sure what the settings should be, i know i can adjust the Launch Control RPM's, but what about the rest of the parameters? Can you leave the defaults in? I mean i dont want to add fuel, or retard ingnition.

Also i want to activate full throttle shift. It says it requires a clutch switch input and will not work with always On.

Anyone know how to get these both working? Do i need to select a specific switch?

Also does anyone know how to get one of my dash lights to come on as a shift light?

Any help much appreciated.
Cheers
Jay

You have to turn it to always on,(if you have not done it all ready) --> go into parameters under rev limits, there should be a pull down....click it and select always on. I did the same thing when when i first set it up.

let's speak on the latest possible version of k-manager - 1.3.0.0

can we use any stock switch or we shall install some switch (like stop-lights switch) first and then connect it to some ECU (PRC) pin (which one in PRC?)?

In Kmanager go to Help, Contents and search for "Rev Limit Parameters". This should explain exactly how it all works.
