Uploaded unknow map by accident??

Post by froshtyv »

- serial number of your K-Pro
- the calibration (as an attachment) Dont know how to do that
- a datalog of a problem (as an attachment) Also dont know how to do that

- what sort of vehicle you have Engine swap in an eg

- what sort of ECU you are using hondata kpro

- anything about the car which has been modified from stock which may affect the ECU Dc sports mani skunk2 exhaust, aem fuel rail,

Basically i plugged in my USB into my lap top and into the ECU,

I though the up arrow was back and i pressed it,
Uploading came on the screen and i plugged out the cable,
Now when i start the car it struggles to start ans the engine managment light stays on.

Car doesnt run right when i drive it, id say its running rich,

What can i do to fix it???

For an engine swap in an EG you should not be using a PRA ecu. That is from a European civic Type R and is very different from the US and JDM ECUs. Have you contacted the campany that did your wiring harness?

Well i was asuming now since i have the PRA ECU that my engine was form a european civic type r,

I am from Ireland and not the states,

Car has been running fine for nearly a year now,

I just uploaded the k20a itr map by accident, so now im running the k20a2civictypertuned calibration,
Only error im getting is for o2 sensor high voltage it comes on a couple of minutes when the car has been started,

I have gone into closed loop setting in the parameters and clicked the "Use secondary o2 input for closed loop operation,

This turns off the error code but the car missfires if im on half throttle,
Quite badly and i get back fire out of my exhaust,

So i turned it off now and am running the car with the same error code as before,

I am very limited in tuners here in Ireland there is no one here with proper experiance and they are very expensive, i dont mind paying but i want it done right,

There was talk of Masetunning coming back over here but i have not heard of anything recently,

I am not willing to go by someone elses calibrations due to not having a wideband lambda sensor or having the full knowledge of what im doing.

Any tips on the error code??

Anyone have any input for me on the 2 data logs??

The one with the error code shows the o2 sensor voltage go to 0.38v this is when the error code comes on.

You cannot disable the O2 heater and have the O2 sensor function properly.

I turned on the 02 heater from the kmanger,

I got an error code saying 02 heater malfunction??

I run with a dc sports exhaust manifold, so im only using one sensor,

There is no cat in my setup.

If you are getting a heater malfunction then you have either a faulty sensor, or faulty wiring.

Well like i said before,

No problems at all untill i uploaded the wrond map,

Would uploading a map for the wrong engine damage the sensor??

I did start the car with the wrong map on it?

Didnt drive it though.
