Can't update USB driver with new computer or update

like title says...I have searched but think my search is using wrong words or something to find the answer myself. So I am making this thread.

I have a 2003 RSX-S with a built motor. I have some mechanical issues, but while trying to get them lined out I need to fix this problem too. I got a new computer, my old one had XP Pro and the version of Kpro right before the one that added WOT shift and launch control function, like 2 or 3 back. Since the build I got this computer, it is Vista, has 32 bit whatever that is, I am not computer illiterate.I downloaded Hondata on here, it is the newest version, 1.3.0. When I tested USB it says everything is hunkadory fine. But when I update USB with this version, it gives me an error, says failed. Tomorrow I am gonna try clearing securities and try again, if it does it again I will post exactly what it says. I have tried clearing the securities before and it still says same thing. Though it will upload base maps that are on the Kpro already. I am worried that this is causing some of my problems with the car not starting, cause it isnt reading the ECU normal or something, help please.

Contact rensoyka on Club RSX. He runs Kmanager on Vista with no problems.

will do, and does Hondata have anything to add to this issue? I would call but figure I would try right here first.

If you can clear security and upload to the ecu, then there is no USB problem. Without detials of the problem you are having it is difficult to offer more advice.
