H22A in serious need of a basemap

Post by grady156 »

I have a H22A swapped crx and I havent gotten my wideband in yet. I need a base map that I can run and be safe until I cant tune it. Type R map runs like crap. Thanks

if the motor is pretty much stock, use the h22 calibration thats provided with smanager, change the fuel injector settings and you'll more than likely have to decrease the fuel map. It'll bog a lot at first but keep decreasing till your o2 reads in the 13's.

In that case you'll have to go by feel. After you've changed the injector settings, highlight the whole fuel map and decrease it with a few clicks of the "decrease" button, do the same for the high speed fuel map as well. Upload the calibration and fire it up. If it bogs, decrease the whole trim a bit more till it smooths out. Once its not bogging at all, stop right there and you should be good.
