Optional Speed Sensor Question

Post by vacantskies88 »

Hey guys,

We're swapping 2006 Honda Integra Type R Engine, ECU (will be K-Pro'd shortly), & Trans into a 93 Civic - I'm confused on whether or not the optional speed sensor is needed. I'm guessing it is but I just wanted to verify

Thanks

as long as this is not a countershaft driven speed sensor then it will work and you will need the speed sensor.

My mistake, perhaps I worded the original post incorrectly. I was looking over the Hondata K-Pro order form for a local company and came across the area which stated to specify what is needed, to check off the box for required items. This one in particular says, "Optional speed output (for swaps using 05-06 RSX transmission)", I asked for clarification on this and was told to check the forums to be sure

Again, 2006 JDM Integra Type-R K20 Engine, Trans, & ECU into a 93 Civic

Thank you for your help

You must be looking at an old form or a from not from Hondata, as that is not an option.
