Air Box Modification for K20 engine

Post by thompels »

From the web site i see how to modification the air box,

If anyone already try this, this is true work ? Does any body have some picture step by step until finish to modificate the air box?

If we cut the ribs, i'm afraid that the hot air will enter, i think this is not good for the engine and performance.. So what is the function of if we cut the ribs but the hot air is still enter.

Any body help me...

thx

yea it works, little but it does. Removing the main seperating wall that reduces induction noise makes a difference in noise and power. I went ahead and cut the ribs too, doesnt let hot air in....
