honda/mitsubishi turbocharging compatability?

Post by slowpokin699 »

I am sorry if there is a better board to post this question on but i dont know honda so i'll start by asking here...

I have heard of people using manifolds and turbos off dsm's to turbocharge thier honda motors. If thats true then what manafolds from what mitsus fit what honda heads? I'm asking because i have an assload of spare dsm parts and my friend has a b16 crx and wants turbo like me  so whats up? are there any how to mitsu/honda swap guides that i should know about... help a brotha out.

Peace

Never heard of a DSM manifold lining up to the head, but I've seen plenty of Single-Cammers use a DSM turbo and a VX/HF manifold with an intermediate flange.

i know this post is really old but i'd thought i'd re-visit hondata today... apparently from what i was told, and read in a magazine a while ago, is that the dsm manifold fits the H and F series motors... the accord and prelude... if only i didnt already have a fwd car!
