07 Si with Comptech FPR crush with GReddy turbo Question

Post by soxfan143 »

Hello Hondata or anyone that might know the answers to this question. I have the GReddy kit on an 07 FA5 with emanage ultimate and I was interested in using the Comptech FPR crush method to up my fuel pressure to lower my duty cycles to a safer range. I know the emanage is not the greates tuning tool out there but it's the best we have for this car as of yet. Now I'm not that bad, I'm running 80% duty at 10psi of boost. Now my question is what will the stock ECU do at idle and in vacuum due to this increase? I noticed through my tuning experiences that if you add too much fuel through the emanage through duty cycle the stock ECU will pull fuel and it will send the trims negative and this causes problems with fueling in boost. Now I have all my duty cycles set perfectly throughout the fuel maps where my part throttle AFRs in vacuum and boost are pretty much perfect and my WOT AFRs are a perfect 12.4 below 4K rpms then it drops to 11.8 from 4K on. I noticed that the stock ECU runs in closed loop even at WOT under 4K. And getting the AFRs that good consistently was no easy task. But I got it. So my final question is, is there any formula used to figure out what to drop the duty cycles to across the board from the rise in fuel pressure so I don't have to use trial and error again? Even if it gets me close enough where it just needs slight street tuning would be great. If anyone could give me any insight to how this will effect the stock ECU it would be GREATLY appreciated.
