request for strain gauge feature

Post by turbotypeR »

I wanted to make a request for a feature added to the strain gauge input. Some other ecus have the ability to control how hard the reactivation comes back in. I made about 10 passes with mine and it hits really hard when you shift. This past weekend I broke either the dog teeth or the gear in 4th because of the shock. I was just wondering if it could be possible to make it where you could slow down the reactivation to keep it from hitting the tranny so hard. Thanks!

Noted. It might be possible to use ignition retard to soften the re-engagement.

what is the chance of getting this feature added before the outlaw shootout in two weeks? there have been alot of broken dogboxes lately. i would love to finish this event without breaking. thanks!

This was added back in July. Make sure you download the newest version of Smanager.

i am already using the strain gauge feature. i am talking about making it to where it does not hit so hard when it comes back on. hondata said that you guys should be able to control the re-engaugement with ignition retard

i hate to keep bugging you about it, but i broke another axle with the strain gauge feature today at the fwd shootout. it just hits too hard without this added. i have broken parts every time out since i have used it.

I would really like this feature as well. Without this feature the strain guage option is pretty much useless as it will just break stuff!
