need help with jdm k20a tune
ok , here you go , go do another one buddy , same thing as before. except this time , i want you to get a WOT pull in the datalog as well , from 2500 rpm to redline in 3rd gear ok. your car was running hella lean dude , like real lean. your gonna notice a huge difference. you should get zero knock count in crusing now , well see.

ok buddy , i took some cam out , i think its some of your problem. maybe you misunderstood but. i want you to do another 30 minute datalog , try and vary the driving conditions more than last time , you didnt get around the map well. let the car tach up in 4th and 5th gear to 5k. but stay crusing throttle. but during the 30 minute datalog of no WOT , do a WOT 3rd gear pull again buddy. get er back to me im here , lol

i understand. what you can do is use 2nd and 3rd , let the car in nd gear get down to 1500 rpm. use enough throttle to bring the red area the ecu is using up to the columns 5,6,7,even 8. make the red square area you see moving around when datalogging , get around the whole area of columns 2-7 or 8 , through 1500-to 4000 rpms.

well in open loop the low profile cam is still running a little lean, based on my AEM eugo which is not linked to the ecu, it's between 15 and 17. but once in closed loop the a/f is fine it averages in the mid 14's, very minor knock; 1 or 2 knock counts around 2-3k rpm but not always, the knock is really random to be perfectly honest but much better than before. but i can definitely feel the difference, it feels smoother and a lil more powerful in that specific rpm range before Vtec.

make sure you get around the whole map as i explained , so we can do this in less trys. im just getting started buddy.
i wish you could sit a day aside with me and do this. rather than once a week adjustments , is it possible for you? im willing to do it for you. id sooner get your car working as it should for you now , lol. if it leans in places up to 17:1 while crusing her and there during your datalogs , its not disastrous buddy. with no load on the engine its not as bad as if your WOT and hit 17:1 , that would be bad , lol.

sorry couldn't get the datalog today, it's been raining like mad... i don't mind spending a day or 2 just for this, and i really appreciate yer concern, but there is at least 7 hours difference if yer in the states and 5 hours if yer europe... i'll do the datalog on late night saturday early morning sunday which is in around 18 hours from now...

ok , here you go buddy , should see huge improvement in A/F ratios when in open loop crusing now. some things i see in your datalog , im not sure what your doing , but your hard on an engine man , lol. i lowered your rev limit to 8400 , dont change it please , your car makes no power up there , and it knocks badly , so leave what i change and you wont have a problem.
heres the new file , load it on the car , do another datalog for me like this , doesnt really have to be 30 minutes , 15 to 20 minutes is fine.
