problem with S300. No map trace and no error code no datalog

Post by Suzukii »

hi,

I'm new to S300. I've recently rewired my OBD0 wiring to OBD1 for the S300. Here are the few problems i've encountered.

1.) When i downloaded the latest S300 Smanager, the ecu will not connect.

2.) I can only connect to the S300 using the Smanager CD that came with the ECU. Later version Smanager from the website will not work.

3.) Engine runs, but no map trace. Can't tune if there is no map tracing. What can be the problem? Could it be TPS sensor pickup?

4.) No error codes, and the screens dont show the rpm etc.

5.) Engine runs normally.

6.) Running on Alpha-N on Jenvey throttle bodies.

Please help out. thanks!

What happens when you try to upload a fresh calibration from File, New, using the newest version of the software?

when ever i try to connect to the ecu using the new software, like downloading the existing map from the ecu to the laptop, it will show the status bar like its processing and when its complete, there is an error code. Can't remember what it was now.

The car is kept on the track side and its quite a drive away. I need to go back there with my laptop.

What are the possible problems that i can identify? I'll write down a list so, when i'm there i can try to troubleshoot.

It does connect when i use the older version Smanager and engine runs alright. But there is no map trace. What could be the problem?
