Installed the PLX wideband yesterday and wired it to the ELD D-10 on my P72 S300. When I'm running the car at idle or anytime for that matter it's reading 1.1 to 1.5:1 AFR. When I run it in closed loop it's still around 1.2:1 AFR. Can a motor even run off that rich of a AFR? Is it even possible to have a 1.5 to 1 AFR?
I ran a voltmeter off the WB output directly on the PLX SMF which reads 3.95volts and according to their chart it would be crazy lean. Now in the sensors when datalogging and in open loop the ELD sensor is reading the 3.95. I don't have the gauge, but that's on the way.
And it's not lambda either, when I have the sensor reading lambda it's .08:1.
Completely lost as to what is going on. I haven't cut the R136 and the other yet in the ECU but would it make that big a difference?

Re: 1.5:1 AFR? PLX Wideband
where did you ground the plx unit? also, how is it working without the gauge? i have the m300 unit and the gauge is what you wire into the car, the actual wideband sensor simply plugs into the back of the gauge.VegasHB wrote:I don't have the gauge, but that's on the way.
