Was wondering if i could have a slightly more in depth explanation and example of throttle tip in, i have read the help file, but still have a couple of uncertaincies.
Does throttle tip in only work for that rapid transition to 100% then stops, suchs as the accelerator pumps on a carb,
OR does it apply due to the rapid opening of the throttle and never resets until you lift?
Reason for the question is when at the drags testing the other week, i thought i would check my mapping , Did a 3rd gear wot pull from about 2k all the way to redline twice.
AFRS were pretty much where i wanted them 13.0-13.2 and a very nice flat line all the way up the revs.
How every when i went for my actuall passes, launching the car proberly and going for the numbers on review of the datalogs, third, and fourth gear where rich, low 12s/high 11s from memory, i can find out the datalogs if needed.
I have noticed some small variation before but never this much, it is a different engine but of he same spec as my last [now fully forged]
just wondering on any advice
cheers
