Error Code.

Hi,

I'm getting the "daughterboard error battery low when cranking" on occasions when it's a hot day. It is fine for most of the time but when we do have a hot day here in England the above error appears. I have to unplug the ECU for a few seconds to clear it and then all is fine.

When I've had this problem in the past I've erased the kpro and reinstalled the software and it's fine until another really hot day comes around. Today it happened from cold when started early afternoon but it has hapened in the past just after a short run and also when started at midday when it had taken me to work at 8:00am.

It is strange but the only consistant factor is an abnormally hot day.

Any ideas? The battery does seem fine and never struggles.

Try replacing the battery. It is cuased by low voltage when cranking just as the error message says.
