check engine light on code 38?

car 2003 rsx type-s
fullrace stage 2 turbo kit
kpro sorry can't give you the ecu or serial # i don't have the car here it is 600mile away and i have the laptop

the problem is wheh he was driving home about 3/4s of the way home the check engine light came on and went in to limp mode runs great up to 4000rpm so over the phone i told how to pull code as per the instructions in the help at the diagnoustic connector and came up with code 38 3 long blinks and 8 quick blinks, but can't can't find anything on a code 38 so he got the rest of the way home got a hold of a laptop loaded the kmanger downloaded the map we compared the 2 overthe phone they match but there is no error codes showing and the wierd thing is no realtime display but it shows online ignition on hit the lightening bolt and the datalog symbol the numbers start up but no display no map trace or sensor moniters your help will is much appreciated thank you let me know what more info you do need i'll get it to you asap oh ya it has been on the dyno and was at the track all weekend an ran awsome till this point aswell as the past few months and a 2000mile road trip

Go to Online, tools and clear security. After that has finished, close the program and reopen it. Then go to File, New and load a new calibration and upload it to the ecu and try to datalog without the car running. If it datalogs and reads the TPS then your old calibration some how was corrupted.

ok i tried this guys cleared secuity then uploaded a new calibration and still no luck i can press realtime then record the cursor will move for datalogging but will still not read anything , along with the sensors , still all reading 0 including the TPS sensor with force on the pedel .

What do you mean when you say "the cursor will move for datalogging"?

sorry what i meant was when i press record and go to Graph the recording time shows running ( numbers ) but the graph stays flatlined but moves as if it was working but no response from any sensors and when i go to sensors or display im getting no reading on any sensors they all read 0.00 nor display has no response ... hope you can help :cry:

This K-Pro was installed by Garage Five Performance. You will need to contact them as it may be an installation problem. They should be able to assist you with this.
