problems after headgasket instal

Post by b18tdelslo »

I have a b18 non vtec fully built with eagle and wiescos with a 60-1 with s cover, gm 3 bar, crower stage 2 cams, and rc
750cc injectors, victor x mani, etc.
Anyways.
The car was tuned by slowmotion in columbus, oh and ran great never a problem. the headgasket went so a brand new cometic was installed and also valve stem seals were changed when the head was was off.

the timing belt is installed properly when the crank is at tdc the holes in the cams line up perfect with the holes in the bearing caps.

Now the problem is the car does not run right at all. when i went to set the ignition timing the marks on the crank pulley arent even close to being right. and even when the marks are the closest to whre they need to be it idles the worst. i did take it around for a few minutes when the idle felt ok so i could run a log. I dont have the wideband hooked into hondata but it seemed to bounce around a lot.
at idle the a/f was about 12.5 varying. when slowing down it would go as high as 20 % o2. when the turbo would start to spool it would hit around 14.5 then when into boost it would hit high 13 to low 14 area.

Also on my oil catch can on the breather element smoke that smells like fuel is coming out of it. also when i pulled the plugs cyl. 1 and 2 had oil on them and 3 and 4 seemed like they were running very lean. however compression is 180 across the board. all the resistance on the injectors is in spec as well. i think the oil is due to bad spark plug gaskets on the vc but i wanted everything to be listed

i am trying to attach my calibration and log files but they are not showing up when i click browse and go to where they are saved. Is there something i need to do

You need to do a leak down test to see if there is a problem somewhere.

here is the calibration the tuner made and i used this exact calibration when it ran fine. and a few logs of what it is doing now.
