In competition it is not a problem, but since it is a rally car it is also driven on the road in normal traffic at normal speeds. In the lower gears, the transition from closed-throttle fuel cutoff to the return of fuel - even with the smallest throttle movement - is a big jerk.
I confirmed today that the jerk coincides with the injection duration coming back from zero. The fuel only cuts off when the throttle is closed for more than something like a whole second, so a quick lift and re-application of the throttle does not initiate fuel cutoff and there is no jerk. The driver mentioned to me today that it makes negotiating roundabouts very difficult and I must admit she is right. It is actually much easier and smoother to use third gear at 800 RPM or less than to try second (and definitely not first) at 1500 or 2000 RPM as you normally would.
I have tried all sorts of figures in the Overrun Fuel Cutoff boxes in the rev limit parameters but nothing seemed to make any difference at all.
I experience the same issue. This is more important to me than anything else, mainly because I drive through high-security military gates several times a day.
If someone can give some guidance for this feature, it'd be really apreceiated.
Im trying to update my S300 to 1.3.6 and it won't allow it to load.It downloads up until the last few seconds and then says error and says file is corrupted and download can't be completed. Any info as to why it isn't working and what all is updated and changed by this newer version?
Im going into my Hondata S300 from my desktop and go to help, then check for updates and right when it is finished downloading it says it failed and the file is corrupted...
Windows XP Pro...would it have anything to do with security settings? I wouldnt think so because its saying its a faulty file and wouldnt see where settings would have anything to do with that.Anymore info on how I can get my system updated as quick as possible? Thanks for all the replies and the help so far![/code]
It sounds like you have some kind of install sheild running that is causing the problem. Turn off any antivirus software and any internet security software. Delete any setup files you currently have and re-download the installation file from our website.
