Lambda conversion table

Post by Dorfus83 »

Hi.
Have a urgent question. I have my LC-1 wideband wired up to ELD and im trying to configure it so that i can see and log the lambdavalue. When i try to input numbers in parameters in the lambda conversion table like this.
0v = 0.5 , 5v = 1.52 the number imidietly changes to 0 and 0.66. But if i input 0v = 2 and 5v= 0.66 it changes to 0.5 and 1.52, The values i want. But then i save my configuration. If i then reload it the values change back to 0 and 0.66. The same thing happens when i go to say, boost cut and back to the tab with the conversion table. WHy is this and what to do?? I have the latest version of smanager and a brandnew lc-1 and hondata.

Don't use Lambda values, instead use AF values. The software has to round numbers and the resolution is not great enough for minute differences in lambda values.

But even if i type in 7.25 for 0 volts and 22.39 for 5 volts the numbers change immidietly to 0.14 and 0.04. Why is that? Its impossible to type in the numbers i want to use anyway. WHat ever number i type in comes out 1 divided by the typed number. 2 comes out 0.5 and so on.
I want the lambda value and not the A/F value to be displayed in "display"

Make sure you have the Settings under Options for units set to Air Fuel Ratio.

So even if i use A/F ratio in the conversion table i can still use a "value gauge" that displays lambda in Dispaly?

You can change the units you use for display in the Sensors window.

Okay im running E85 on my car and i really want to use Lambda as unit. But every time i try to input numbers as i stated above they change. I have marked Lambdaunit as lambda under Settings. It just wont keep the values i input. Is there no way to use lambda? I also have my LC-1 set to output lambda in LMprogrammer.
