noob question, engine management light with de-cat

right guys i have a 2002 civic type r

it has already got kpro fitted

but i dont have the wire to connect it to my laptop so my first question is what type of wire do i need to connect it to my pc??

any links would help

also car has just had a de-cat fitted with a tanabe system and a gruppe m air filter

no my engine management light is on all the time because of the cat being removed, was told i needed a 02 simulator?

but then was told if i had kpro i did not need a o2 sim as there is a way of fixing it through kpro ? any ideas

You can use any standard USB cable.

To eliminate that error code you must disable emissions error checking.

but the connection on my ecu does not look like a usb connection?

how do i disable that

I assure you it uses a USB cable.

Look in Misc under Parameters.
