Random MIL light without any codes

Ok, as it says above. I have had two occasions where the check engine light comes on, once while I was driving, and once at start up. When the lights on and I put a jumper at the service connector the light goes off. No codes being displayed. Also, if you turn off the car and then right back on it clears the check light. I am now taking my laptop every time i go driving to try and figure this out, but til then. does anyone have any ideas on this? could it be a protection setup that i have, which is only coolant at 220 degrees to make redline 3k. the car kinda stumbles with the light on, but drives the same, maybe just wierd on the throttle.

my car did the same thing and it was that the limp mode caused by the temp i changed mine to 240 and haven't had a problem
