Should i return my ecu or fix it?

Post by adolfovalen »

i got EG6 CX hacht, b20vtec, usdm b16a head, stock internals, ITR intake manifold,DC spoort-RACE 4-1 header,3" cat back, P28 Hondata s300, 94 TEG LS MODIFY wiring harness , i keep getting code "21 vtec spool" then i got the vtec assembly clean, got a new gasket(gasket, spool mesh, new vtec solenoid, new oil pressure swich)then clear the code, then warm up the car, then head out to the high way ,rev it to 6000 rpm the stupid light comes back on , "code 21" then i checked the vtec wire (a4) pin with a test light there is no juice going to it, i put the car on the lift running then check it and still no juice, is it possible that the ecu pin can get dammaged or is a wiring problem? i check the s300 manager and check all the settings oil pressure swicht on , vtec enabled on, and spool valve enable on and vtec activation speed is set at 0mph, closed loop. i think a test light should work fine or should i try a homs meter?  :?: :?:

It sounds like a wiring problem. I would suggest having a shop that is familiar with engine swaps check this for you.
