Loosing connection with K-pro

Post by nakashimaR »

hello everybody...This problem has been around a while so i cant work on my maps... ill go straight to the point... I just cant get connected to my kpro, checked usb, unistalled & re installed my version after uninstalling other k manager versions from laptop & then it worked so we could do some programming.
The next time we wanted to do so, it just didnt work that way. Im thinking of buying a laptop just to install my version of the K-manager just to check if it works only with the cd of the version that came with my Kpro...Does that mean that it only needs the certain cd and certain K-manager version to work?

Any other ideas of what could be wrong? :(

You need to use the newest version of the software. ONce you have the newest version of software go to online, tools and click on clear security. After the security has been cleared, upload a new calibration from File, New.

it happens a lot of times for me on the dyno

actually since 1 year it never happens since: use only a maximum of 6 ft USB cable, using my laptop on the same ground as the car

You should always be using the most recent version of software.
