Hi i am a newbie to this forum so firstly i apoligise for my first post being in need for technical help.
i am a member from over in the uk.
I have recently fitted an engine swap into my dc2 integra type r ( uk spec )
so i now have a dc2 with a jap spec dc5 k20a engine.( I used the hybrid racing conversion harness for this swap)
i have the bdl 70 mm throttle body, rbc inlet manifold. aem cold air intake and dc sports swap header running back onto a hks silent hi power exhaust.
after doing some web browsing i am begining to think my problem is i have the incorrect k pro ecu but i am hoping you can confirm this for me.
the problem is the primary oxygen senser will not give me a reading. i know all the wiring is correct and i have treble checked the wiring instructions, all that is different is i dont have the the oem oxy probe or the denso one which they specify i have an NTK direct fit replacement, it is still a wide band ( here is a link to where i got it along with the part number just incase you wish to also confirm this for me ----part number is OZA563-H5 and i purchased it here http://www.lambdasensor.co.uk/main/hondantk.htm )
so if i do have the correct oxy probe all i can think it would be is the fact that the ecu that came with the engine was the code PRC which is for the jdm integra type r matching the engine i have fitted.
however the kpro'd ecu which was returned to me using my prc as an exchange unit was a PRA ecu which is for the euro civic type r, i read some where that this ecu is not compatable with my jdm engine ?
can any one here help me out and confirm this before i go sending my ecu back for a prc ?
