Weird Problem, please help

When I install KManager, it opens fine after the install is over, but if I close the program, it will not reopen. I gives me the following message...

"K-Series ECU Manager has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience."

Please help me find the issue.

I'm trying to install 1.2.3.3, earlier versions worked fine, but I cleaned everything up and reinstalled the latest version.

Using XP.

Can you provide additional error information, such as the exact point where the error is generated (I can't tell if it is when closing KManager or re-openeing it)? Check file attributes in the KManager directory for any read only files. Also, what hardware is this on?

This happens on startup.. I did find a way for the program to start, If I right click and select "run as", there in a box marked, "Protect my computer from unauthorized program activity", If I deselect it and press enter, the program will start up.... After I shut it off, to restart, I have to deselect it again.

2.4 Core 2 Duo, 2 gigs ram, XP

It sounds like you have some type of crashguard or antivirus software that is interfering with your programs running. Try disabling that software.
