Kpro map needed for JRSC k20a

Post by fonz600 »

Hi,

I've got a JDM EP3 with JRSC, JR mani, Toda exhaust, Injen CAI, 650cc and looking for a kpro calibration for it as the existing map is knocking and full of flat spots on partial throttle and the tuner who did the tune refuses to pass on the map and I ain't paying for them to sort it.
I'm on the process of trying to replicate the map using 1 of the jrsc base maps but they are all for the k20a2 engine so looking for something closer to what I've got as ign and cam values are quite abit different

Why dont you just download the map from the ecu. Its in 'Online' - 'Tools' - 'Download'.

I also have a Ep3 type R with a 8-9 PSI JRSC, Toda Header, Spoon N1 + B-Pipe, AEM CAI.

Not many people like sharing maps like these as it can cost $900 - $1000 for a tune.

Well it cost me ?450 from a very reputable company. TDI-North but i am from the UK.

Hope this helps

Cheers, Chris

Just tuned a map from Kmanager's supplied ones.

That is disgraceful, I had a k100 and that was tuned at CPL so when i bought the charger I had to by a k-pro aswell for the same reason.
To be honest he shouldn't be aloud to do that as we are paying customers at the end of the day.

I am after a map now that will suit my car without the charger as i have just took it off.

Hi, I'll be in the same situation soon too. Was abit annoyed when I was told that, but I can understand it. However, I'd at least want to be able to upload my own map and still have access to the proffesionally done map should I want to swap between them. Is that possible? Or once you upload your own, does the locked map get deleted???

Once you upload your map it overwrites the previous one. I was lucky as I had 2 Kpros so could swap between them until I was happy with my new map.
I have no probs passing on my map when I finish it.

Thats abit annoying. Basically means once its done I can't play around with my own map, coz the other one will disappear. :(

Thanks for the info fonz
