Hi. I was wondering if any of you guys have ever had an injector fail. I suspect one of my injectors may be "stuck" open, or just not functioning properly.
Like it drips too much fuel when idling. Anybody had a similar experience?

Yes and no...
I have had clogged injectors before but not one stuck... The clogging was due to some idiot that put sugar in the gas tank before i bought the civic.
You could clearly see a caramel like substance on the tip of each injector. The motor would bog so bad from 1 - 4k RPM but from vtec on up (4200 rpm) it rapped like a striped ass ape. Cleaned them in ChemTool, soaked for an hour, and ran like a champ afterwards.
Whats it doing?

The car dies at idle sometimes, like it is flooding. I was thinking maybe a malfunctioning injector could be letting in too much fuel at idle.
I am in the process of welding a cracked exhaust, putting new studs in the manifold, and setting the timing.
I replaced the igniter in the distrubutor, and I put the distributor back on where I marked it, but it may be a little off. Improper timing can cause some weird idling.
The car never used to have problems idling, so I am thinking is either the timing or the injectors.
